Spring Retreat

Retreats are a time for students to get away from the distractions of life and have a couple of days to have moments with God. Our theme for this year is Walk the Path. The theme will challenge students to not simply talk about something but to have their actions speak as well. Many times we speak out for something via social media but the rest of our life doesn’t reflect what we advocate for; and other times our life is in direct conflict with what we have said. The retreat will ask students to participate in small group discussion, and hear large group talks about how we can move forward walking the path that God would have for us. The retreat will take place at Camp Merriwood in Clemmons, NC. This is a day retreat, meaning that students will not spend the night. All participants will be asked to be masked and will have temperature checks each day. Majority of the gatherings will take place outside in an effort to have the safest possible atmosphere for participants. Students are asked to sign up through the youth ministry sign up platform.
