We seek to provide a nurturing and engaging experience for children and families that is formed in faith by God’s word, the work of the Holy Spirit, and in our community with God’s people. We offer many opportunities for children to experience God through worship, Bible study, music, and service. We strive to nurture the faith of all children at their own development levels. Children’s Ministry Prep
From people who love to organize to the creative types, if you have time, we have something for you to do! Projects range from cutting out VBS supplies, to organizing weekly lesson materials, to creating bulletin boards. If you have even a couple hours here and there during the year, we’d love your help. Some work can be done at home and other work needs to be organized directly at church.
Children’s Sunday Bible Study Teacher/Assistant
The teacher will study the written lesson ahead of time and be prepared to lead class time with the lesson and materials provided. Teachers are people with a living faith in Jesus and a love for kids. It’s good for the assistant teacher to be familiar with the main themes and basic movements of the lesson ahead of time, but this person can also simply arrive and be an extra help. A background check is required.
Vacation Bible School – Summer
Vacation Bible School is looked forward to by kids, parents, and youth alike. It’s a time to learn in-depth about Jesus and have lots of fun doing so. You can use your gifts at VBS in a variety of ways: small group leader for children, teacher, crafts, snacks, providing hospitality to volunteers, set design, and more. If you want to help, there’s a spot for you.
Passport Kids Camp – Summer
PASSPORTkids is a 4-day, 3-night children’s camp filled with fun faith-building programming and hands-on missions education. It is for students who have completed 3rd – 6th grade.
At camp, your students will discover God’s love and practice being followers of Jesus through an active schedule of Bible studies, missions education, recreation, and worship. As group leaders, you’ll be able to focus on engaging with your children without taking on the burden of planning and logistics.
