How wonderful it is when one can see God at work through our Children’s Music Ministry. On Wednesday, May 9, our children’s choirs and children’s missions groups went “on mission” to The Oaks, a resident care facility, to share their songs and scripture interpretations from Children’s Sunday. The children proclaimed the message of “All Creation Singing” praises to the Lord and telling of His love. As the children sang and spoke, some of the residents responded with words of appreciation and encouragement, and applause. After their presentation, we saw God at work as the children went among the audience and down the hallways, giving each resident a special card telling them that God loves them. How wonderful to see the children interact with the residents, bringing smiles of joy to their faces and a ray of sunshine. You almost could see God smiling on these acts of kindness.
