The view of new facilities from the corner of Miller Street and Elizabeth Avenue.
To Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine...
The front courtyard features a "Walk of Faith" of personalized bricks. The names in the small octagon nearest Miller Street are those of our charter members.
The steps leading from the "Walk of Faith" open into the Narthex. The sidewalk to the left leads to the new first floor lobby which connects the Fellowship building to the new building.
Main doors to the first floor lobby open directly in front of our Tapestry. The Welcome Center is to the left and the doors on the right open into the Narthex.
Immediately across from the Welcome Center. Offices and Fellowship Hall are to the left, and the Narthex is to the right.
As we leave the Narthex to enter the sanctuary, we are reminded that we "Enter to Worship". Note the Old Testament friezes above the doors on the left.
Narthex - New Testament friezes are above the doors on the right. These doors lead to the Parlor.
The Parlor is located at the base of the Bell Tower.
The Rose Window rests above the doors which lead outside to the "Walk of Faith" from the Narthex.
Entering the Sanctuary from the Narthex gives a good view of the Chancel area, Choir Loft, Communion and Baptismal windows, the exposed trusses, and organ pipes.
The stained glass windows on the right remind us that Christ calls all of us to "Come Unto Me".
The stained glass windows on the left show the parable of the sower. "Go Ye Therefore" is our commission to sow the seed of the Gospel.
Directly behind the sanctuary is new educational space. The first floor is the new preschool hall.
Each preschool room is entered from the hallway...and has plenty of room for lessons and activities.
All preschool rooms have an emergency exit on the back wall.
In addition to classrooms for older children, the second floor of the new educational space houses the Choir Suite. Both rehearsal pianos were a gift to the Music Ministry.
The Choir Suite contains separate robing rooms and bathrooms for men and women, a resource room for instruments and music, a high ceiling for wonderful acoustics, and room for all the choir members (with room to grow).
