He is a native of Asheville, North Carolina, a graduate of Louisiana College, and holds the Master of Church Music Degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth, Texas.
He has served churches in North Carolina and Georgia as Minister of Music and Minister of Music and Senior Adults. David is married to Susan Deaton Lane, who is employed by Wells Fargo.
