Our Associate Pastor
G. Tyler (Ty) Talton, Jr. has been Associate Pastor since March of 1987, coming to Ardmore from Union Grove Baptist Church in Kernersville, North Carolina. (Click on name to send email.)
A native of Orlando, Florida, he is a graduate of Furman University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky with a Master of Divinity degree. Ty has completed a clinical internship at the school of Pastoral Care , North Carolina Baptist Hospital and has received a Master of Arts degree in Pastoral Counseling from Wake Forest University.
He is married to our Minister of Music, the former Sandra Anne Melton of Columbia, South Carolina and they have a son, Tyler, also a graduate of Furman University, living in Winston-Salem.
