Ardmore Baptist is an autonomous local congregation which determines it's own direction, values and beliefs. From our earliest beginnings we have recognized the importance of cooperation with other groups. In that togetherness, we know that we find strength and resources which enable us to accomplish more than we could ever do on our own.

This congregation chooses to work together with any religious or community group that will help us fulfill our understanding of mission and purpose (read "The Ardmore Way" for a more detailed explanation).

Across the years this church has developed strong relationships with other Baptist bodies. We choose to relate to a network of moderate traditional Baptist groups which can help us fulfill our mission. Presently, these groups are: locally, the Pilot Mountain Baptist Association; at the state level, the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina and the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of North Carolina; nationally with the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship and with the Southern Baptist Convention; and globally with the Baptist World Alliance.

Our relationship with each of these organizations is voluntary and mutual. We believe that through our cooperative efforts we will strengthen our witness and build up the Kingdom of God around the world. Each of the following has a web site for your further reference. Visit them to learn more about their work.
